A process server was attempting to serve James Allen in Vienna Illinois in 2011. James Allen was serving as State’s Attorney for Illinois at the time. Mr. Allen pulled a .380 handgun on the process server and was charged with assaulting a process server. Who does these things? Apparently the States Attorney in Illinois Since the incident Mr. Allen’s law license has been suspended. This guy sounds like a real winner. This is a great example what not to do when being served.
