Don’t Shoot the Messenger

I have read another case about am older woman who is 58 years of age attempting to shoot at a process server.  The process server approached the door the woman, Shirley Bolton, opened the door, pointed a gun at the process server.  She fired one shot and thankfully it did not hit the process server.  The process server retreated and hid behind his automobile.  Police were called and upon their arrival to the scene, Ms. Bolton still had the gun in her possession and was ordered to put it on the ground.

Bolton was charged with attempted first-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, felony use of a handgun in a violent crime, handgun possession, and reckless endangerment.

Bolton is being held on $200,000 bond.
